Our History
 

STEMkits was founded by STEM Girl, a Brisbane scientist-turned-high school lab technician.

For 12 years, STEM Girl watched primary school students visit her science department, full of wonder and excitement at the prospect of hands-on science activities. But by the time these same students reached high school, they already identified as 'science kids' or 'non-science kids'!

Frustrated with the lack of support for primary schools in this area, STEM Girl set out to engage primary students with a series of fun, hands-on STEM activities aligned with the National Science Curriculum. But to go a step further, STEM Girl developed a support package for the primary school teacher unlike anything else on the market today.
