How STEMkits work
STEMkits and Primary Schools
STEMkits staff liaise with primary schools to determine their needs in regards to year levels and class sizes.
STEMkits and Teachers
Teachers receive an email prior to the delivery of the STEMkits. This includes a link to a video of 'STEM Girl to the Rescue", where STEM Girl guides the teacher through the activity with a demonstration and plenty of useful tips.
Once delivered, teachers have a full three weeks to use the STEMkits.
When the STEMkits activities are complete, don't wash or clean anything (that's STEM Girl's job!). Just slide it back into the STEMkits box and have it ready to be swapped for your next STEMkits box.
STEMkits and Students
Students will get the chance to engage in fun, hands-on STEM activities that allow them to use real science equipment AND learn more about the science topic for that term. This includes worksheets for the students to complete and paste into their STEMkits Log Book to keep track of their work throughout the year.
